Western Nebraska and Eastern Wyoming's
Premier Stay-At-Home Care Agency.

About Helping Hands

Helping Hands, Stay-At-Home-Care was created to offer quality and trustworthy care. We understand the desire of seniors to stay in their own homes. However, staying at home often requires special assistance in order to continue living independently. Helping Hands is ready to offer that assistance.

Maggie Rodgers (our founder) was inspired to create Helping Hands after discovering a need for quality Stay-At-Home Care in her community. With aging parents of her own, finding a local source of reliable and ethical care became her top priority. She researched the home care industry and applied the best aspects of each provider to better serve the community. The process led her to Community Home Care Incorporated, a company with over 20 years of experience providing premier home care. They decided to offer Maggie their resources and support and Helping Hands was born.

Helping Hands only hires caregivers that Maggie, herself, would allow into her own homes, taking care of her own parents! Maggie and her staff strive to provide Helping Hands to all who need them, whether you live in town or rurally. In addition, because her family roots are in the agriculture business, she understands that rural living also means additional responsibilities that may require special assistance.

Our caregivers work closely with clients and their families to ensure everyone feels informed, supported, and confident in the care being provided.

Helping Families Stay Together

Many people assume that needing assistance automatically means moving into assisted living or a nursing home.

In many cases, that's simply not true.

With the right support, seniors and individuals with disabilities can often continue living safely in their own homes while maintaining their routines, relationships, and independence.

Helping Hands was built on the belief that people deserve the opportunity to age with dignity in familiar surroundings.

We are proud to help make that possible every day.

Medicaid Waiver & Family Caregiver Support

Helping Hands proudly accepts Nebraska's Aged & Disabled Waiver for qualifying individuals.

Many families are surprised to learn that, depending on eligibility requirements, family members may be able to provide care for a loved one and receive compensation through approved programs.
